A Name with Heart

You might wonder where the name Mia's Bridal comes from.

It comes from Mia — my beautiful daughter.

When I started this journey, I wasn't looking for a fancy brand name or a clever marketing angle. I was looking for something real, something that mattered. Mia is my world, and everything I do is for her. Naming this boutique after her was my way of pouring my heart into every dress we make, every bride we serve, and every dream we help come true.

But the story of Mia's Bridal didn't start with a name. It started with frustration.

The Beginning

My name is Alejandra Nancy Machado, and I am the founder and owner of AUBE BRIDAL SL — the company behind Mia's Bridal.

Before I became a business owner, I was simply a mother and a woman who loved fashion. Like so many of you, I began searching for bridal wear — not for myself, but for someone I loved. And what I found shocked me.

I saw beautiful dresses with astronomical price tags. I saw markups that made no sense. I saw brides being told that their dream dress would cost them a small fortune — and if they couldn't afford it, they simply didn't deserve to feel beautiful.

I refused to accept that.

A Mission Born from Frustration

I started asking questions. Why are these dresses so expensive? Why is there such a huge gap between the cost of making a dress and the price brides are forced to pay?

What I discovered was simple: middlemen, luxury branding, and unnecessary markups.

I decided to do something about it.

I opened a physical boutique in Barcelona — a beautiful space where brides could come, try on dresses, and experience the magic of finding their dream gown. For years, I poured my heart into that store. I personally welcomed every bride, celebrated every "yes," and cried happy tears at every fitting.

But running a physical store in Barcelona came with enormous costs — rent, utilities, staff, and overheads that I couldn't ignore. To survive, I would have had to raise my prices significantly. And that went against everything I believed in.

So I made a difficult but necessary decision.

A New Chapter — Online Only

In 2023, I closed the doors of my physical boutique and moved entirely online.

It wasn't an easy choice. I miss the personal connections, the fittings, the tears of joy. But the reality is simple: by operating online, I can offer you the same quality dresses at a fraction of the price.

I don't have to pay for expensive Barcelona rent. I don't have to pass those costs on to you. Instead, I invest everything into what really matters: the quality of the dress and the happiness of the bride.

To keep our prices affordable without compromising on quality, our dresses are crafted abroad by skilled artisans who share our commitment to excellence.

We partner with trusted manufacturers who use premium fabrics, meticulous stitching, and attention to detail — the same quality you would find in a high-end Barcelona boutique, but without the luxury markup.

We personally oversee every step of the production process. We visit our manufacturing partners regularly. We inspect samples. We ensure that every dress that leaves our workshop meets our strict quality standards.

Why do we make our dresses abroad? Because it allows us to offer you stunning, high-quality gowns at prices that are fair, honest, and accessible. We believe that every bride deserves to feel beautiful — regardless of her budget.

A New Home for Mia's Bridal

In 2024, I had the opportunity to acquire the domain miasbridal.com — a name that had previously been used by a bridal boutique in the United States.

Let me be clear: We are not that company.

That chapter belongs to someone else's story. We are AUBE BRIDAL SL, a Spanish company with our roots firmly planted in Barcelona and our warehouse in Tarragona. We are completely separate, independent, and proud of our Spanish identity.

When I acquired the domain, I knew I wanted to give it a new purpose — a new soul. And what better way than to honor my daughter Mia, who inspired everything I do?

Today, Mia's Bridal is proudly owned and operated by our team in Spain. We have our own tailors, our own artisans, our own collection, and our own commitment to you.
